Frequently Asked Questions

How should I store my cookies?

In the sealed individualized packages they are good for 3-4 weeks at room temperature.

To keep them as fresh as possible, they may be frozen. To thaw them you can microwave for approximately 12 seconds or heat them in a 200 degree oven for about 2 minutes. Don’t forget to remove the packaging first! You can also let them come to room temperature.

Do you ship?

Yes! All orders for shipping are sent on Wednesdays by USPS priority mail. This ensures freshness, consistency, and most of the time, a supply for the weekend. Unfortunately, we are not able to ship frozen cookie dough due to cost of overnight shipping. Cookie cakes are for local pickup only.

Where is Pick up?

The location is very close to Freedom Park in Myers Park. When your order is ready you will be sent a confirmation with time and place for pickup.

Lactation Cookie Questions:

How many should I eat to help my breastmilk supply?

Typically my customers will enjoy 1-2 cookies a day.

My husband, child, nanny, (insert your cookie addict here), keeps stealing my lactation cookies, will they start lactating?

No. Liquid Gold Lactation Cookies are delicious and everyone around you will be jealous, however, if not already lactating the cookie will not cause you to lactate. It will only boost the production of those who are!

How soon will I see an increase in their supply?

Everyone is different, but typically you will notice after 24 hours of eating 1-2 cookies a day. Many of our Mom’s notice by their next feed! Also, while our cookies are made to effectively increase your supply naturally, everyone's body responds differently. Liquid Gold Boosters are not to be used to replace proper nursing practices.

Do your lactation cookies contain fenugreek?

No. There are mixed studies showing whether fenugreek has positive outcomes on lactation. In many accounts it can decrease mother’s production. It also tends to adversely affect stomach for both baby and Mom.

Do your lactation cookies have breast milk in them?

No, our cookies are intended to increase a woman's breast milk supply and do not contain breast milk.
